Host Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the SmokyMountains.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.
Unit Pet Policy
This host charges a $50 (plus tax) pet fee per animal staying in pet-friendly rental units. The animal type is restricted to dogs and a maximum of three dogs are permitted. In addition, dogs over 50 pounds are not permitted.
The following breeds are not permitted in cabins or anywhere on the property at any time: Pit Bulls & Staffordshire Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Chows, Great Danes, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, Wolf-hybrids.

Great Stay
This was my grandsons first trip to the mountains (he’s 2). So we wanted somewhere special to stay and it could not have been better. My daughter, son in law, my husband and me stayed at Southern Comfort and it was perfect for us! The cabin has plenty to do if you just want to stay in and enjoy nature but close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. However, if you have an older person with you that has trouble with stairs this is not the cabin for you. The 3 bedrooms together are downstairs from the living area, and the one bedroom is upstairs where the theater and games are. Elk Springs Lodge has beautiful cabins and we loved the area. We had a great time and definitely plan on using them again! ❤️
Would Book This Cabin Again
We were family vacationing together for a week. Had two teens and five adults. The cabin was clean and staff were responsive to our needs with good communication before our stay and during. The location is central to all you might want to do from the Gatlinburg strip to white water rafting and ziplining as well as the great Smokey Mountains.
Cozy Cabin
This is a lovely cabin for newlyweds or just a couple on vacation. Plenty of bedding to bring the kids along also. The cabin was clean and everything we needed to have a great wedding/honeymoon trip. We hope to book with Elk Springs again in the future. Thank you!

Great, quiet location! House was a good fit for our family, our kids loved the game room and was an easy drive to town or over fur tubing. We would def stay again!

Awesome Cabin-Southern Comfort
This was an absolutely beautiful cabin. I usually stay in Serenity Lodge but some of the people in our group have difficulty walking up stairs so I chose Southern Comfort to make getting in the cabin in easier. It was spacious enough for everyone we had there. Plus, it’s pet friendly and we have a service dog. I’ll definitely consider this cabin again. Dealing with Elk Springs Resort is amazing. I’ve been renting thru them for about 10 years now and always book thru them for a cabin
