ace in the hole

We had a very nice vacation at Ace in the Hole Cabin. Elk Springs Resort cabin rentals was one of better rental agencies we have rented through, very informative, checked in on us to make sure everything was good, and were on top of all things needed for a nice week. The cabin was excellent; very clean and well maintained, it had so many amenities/fun things to do and a wonderful scenic view. The only downside was that it was right on a very busy road, nonstop traffic going even up until 4am on weekends, some even used driveway to turn around. A group young kids were also using road to race each other with their loud modified cars late into the night hours for several nights, sometimes 10 to 12 cars at a time. We just avoided some of outside sitting areas due to the excessive noise and ruckus of it all.

For the last 3-5 years we have come to the area and rented a different cabin just to get different tastes and experiences. The family all agreed that Ace In The Hole has been our favorite BY FAR! We'd love to come back.

Great home! We had the best time as a group of 9 (7 teenagers ages 14-20) The kids stayed in the game room or in the indoor pool/jacuzzi the whole time! So much to do, it did rain the majority of our visit so we were only able to watch a movie outside one time. Kitchen was stocked with all your needs to cook. The home was spotless! There was a huge bear that like to visit around 7:30 every night. Waking up and having coffee and watching the sunrise from the wrap around porch was amazing. The drive up is not for the faint. Elk Resort was amazing to work with, very responsive (within minutes) anytime we had a question. Would definitely stay again!

We have rented a lot of cabins in the area over the years and Ace In the Hole definately ranks high on the list, if not at the top. Gorgeous cabin, gorgeous location and view and awesome amenities! We enjoyed every inch of this place. The indoor, as well as the expansive outdoor spaces were all a treat for our family! The Elk Springs Resort staff was very helpful and professional. Highly recommend

First vacation in the Smokey Mountains !! The Ace in the Hole cabin we rented was very clean and comfortable for all eight of us. Three adults and five kids. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we liked the cabin and the accommodations. What you see on line is what you get, and the pictures do not do justice for the view you have from this cabin. The covered deck off the family room is the money room, although my grandkids would say the pool area or the bunk room and or game room, but in my mind the view everyday was spectacular. Now the family room looked much larger in the pictures but I kinda expected that and it was adequate. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were great and modern. Great showers!! We enjoyed our stay at Ace in the Hole and would highly recommend it to anyone wanted to gather with family or friends. The team at Elk Springs were great to work with. Example when we arrived we thought the water in the pool looked cloudy, call ESR and they sent someone out ASAP, turned out the a breaker tripped on the filter and the guy fixed it on the spot and from then on everything was great.
Downside it is a winding hairpin road to get to the cabin so caution is a must. There was a lot of construction going on up higher on the mountain so we had a lot of trucks going up and down each day but wasn’t too bad.
The outside entertainment areas needed some work, the mini golf only had three putters but we made it work, and most of the pool table balls were out of air, but still fun.
PF & Gatlinburg were fun but the traffic was crazy.
We did see two black bears walk past the property but they totally ignored us.
Really a great vacation in this Smokey mountain cabin. Deal yourself a winning had and stay at “ The Ace in the Hole” ��
