Host Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Beautiful Property
A lot to like about the overall experience. Check in was a breeze and receive the code to the cabin before we even left to drive down.
Upon arrival, all features of the property were as described and the cabin was well appointed with everything you could need. Tons of games for the kids, a functioning (although small) pool, hot tub, etc.
The only negatives worth mentioning - wifi coverage in the home is very poor. It doesn't function at all in the main 1st floor bedroom and certain areas upstairs. Property needs additional access points/repeaters. This was frustrating. Additionally, housekeeping didn't do a terrific job from the previous guest. A dirty/wet bathmat was left in the master bath, cleaning products left on the counter, dirty rag left in upstairs bathroom, etc. Small, but worth mentioning.
Overall, can't wait to get back and will definitely try to stay at the same cabin.

Beautiful Log Cabin
The cabin was beautiful. It was a good location- close to restaurants, but a little off the beaten path so it was quiet where you stayed. The whole family enjoyed it and hope to make it back sometime.

Always Amazing!
We are return customers as we come to the mountains at least 4-5 times a year. Always a great experience with Elk Springs Resorts Cabins. We stayed at The Thunder Mountain Lodge this time & loved it. The WiFi worked thankfully cause the road there is zero service. Cabin was beautiful & clean as always. Booking was easy & we had an awesome time. My in laws are in their 90’s & they’ve never been so this helped make the trip even more memorable.

Perfect Family House
The house was beautifully designed & decorated. Truly couldn’t ask for anything better for a family get away! If u stay make sure to bring additional cookware and knives if you don’t want to buy more. Also the internet didn’t work to well in a couple of the bedrooms.
