This home provided plenty of room to spread out or gather together. There are several small seating areas for intimate conversations and enough rocking chairs to gather a group and enjoy being outdoors. Sherwood Forest is near the Parkway with easy access to either P Forge or Gburg. It was perfect for our family from several states to reconnect and enjoy one another. It would be beneficial to improve lighting at the deck stairs near the driveway. It is motion sensored but not consistent WHERE it actually picks up movement and didn’t always turn on before someone went up or down and this is a busy area with luggage, etc in/out. Showers were pleasant, but water could be hotter at the kitchen sink to avoid adding water heated on the stove. Minor details, although the stairs were a safety issue. Would love to stay here again.

We rented Raccoon Ridge for our family vacation with 11 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of space. We stay in the area often and this was by far the best location we've had. Just 10 min to Pigeon Forge and not much further from Gatlinburg. But still felt secluded, in a quiet community with amazing mountain views. My only complaint would be about the cleanliness. When we arrived, there was a whole orange, and some crackers left on the floor under one of the couches. The blankets and shams on the beds were all in need of a good wash. And the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in some time. Our socks were covered in dirt after walking around the cabin. And the baseboards and walls all needed a good dusting. But other than that, I would definitely recommend.

We had a small group of 3 families staying together. The cabin fit everyone nicely and provided adequate space for all. The mountain views from the porch and the proximity to downtown Pigeon Forge were perfect for our trip.

Our party of 8 adults, a 4 year old and an infant had an amazing experience at Raccoon Ridge! Incredible views from main level porch, big table to accomdate family meals, comfortable beds, several living spaces. Be aware there are 4 levels to this large home, but the 6 bedrooms & queen bunks allowed us to spread out! 15 minutes to Dollywood & DigNZone, 10 minutes to most restaurants, but very quiet and secluded location!

There was 11 of us for a family vacation. House was perfect for us all. Well equipped & in great location. Even got to see some bears up close as they were walking down the street.

I took my family (11 of us) for an extended weekend and this place worked out well. We liked the proximity to the strip, the view from the front decks, the pool table, and the hot tub. The cabin was clean and had what we needed.
