A stay at Bear's Den is the stuff happy memories are made of. Tucked away among towering trees, the two-bedroom log cabin is a woodland wonderland, yet it's less than five minutes from the excitement of downtown Gatlinburg.

As soon as you drive up to Bear's Den, you'll be charmed. It looks exactly as a mountain log cabin should. A large covered front porch spans the width of the home, with wooden rockers and log stools inviting you to kick back, take a deep breath of fresh mountain...

Host Cancellation Policy

This host gives 100% refunds of booking deposits within 48 hours of booking.

Only the guest named on the rental agreement may notify host either in written or verbal form of the request to cancel. Reservations are non-refundable if cancelled less than 45 days prior to arrival for 1-5 bedrooms, 90 days prior to arrival for 6-10 bedrooms and 180 days prior to arrival for 11+ bedrooms.

There are no refunds for bad weather, snow, no-shows, late arrival or early departure.

Couldn't Bear to End Bear's Den

The only problems with our stay was not seeing the bears spoken of in the journal and the more serious problem of having to leave it all behind, but we came away with a lot of good memories that will last a lifetime as well as 200+ photos with a good portion of those in the cabin. I look forward to a return some time in the future. The place was impeccably clean. We did see a roach in the kitchen but only one. With that said, I look forward to a return in the next year or two. I kept the app in my phone. Thank you. Homer & Vickie Vaughn
