Serving up southwest Caribbean soul food since 2003 is the Coyote Kitchen in Boone, NC. As of 2022, Coyote Kitchen is proudly owned and operated by Lost Province Brewing Company and their new owners have always loved Coyote’s Kitchen concept and have enjoyed countless lunches and dinners at this beloved Boone staple. The current name is now transformed a bit to reflect the new owners and is simply called the Coyote Kitchen and Lost Cantina.

In the watchful hands of the new owners, this eatery is expected to continue to thrive in the Boone community. One unique feature of the Coyote Kitchen is its commitment to allergy-friendly options, which will continue to be an emphasis even under the new ownership and management. The location is known as an eco-conscious Southwest and Caribbean establishment with bright, cherry digs featuring local art.

Lost Province Brewing Co. now the owners of Coyote Kitchen opened in 2014 and is a destination microbrewery and gastropub located in the historic downtown region of Boone. The brand brews authentic and innovative craft beer and is a family-owned and operated establishment. The Coyote Kitchen sources local ingredients when possible to create the freshest dishes with the most robust and memorable taste. One NC company they feature on their menu is Shipley Farms Signature Beef, providing pasture-raised beef of the highest quality.

Starters
To get your meal off on the right foot, you will want to learn about all the starters featured at Coyote Kitchen. Options include chips and dip, homemade French fries, beans n cheese, and more.

Soup and Salad
This eatery has lots of options for many ranges of taste buds including those who prefer a lighter fare. You can opt for homemade soup, a soup and sammy, which is a bowl of soup with a tomato and cheese melt, or a soup and ensalada, which is a cup of soup, small house salad and tomato and cheese melt, house salad, spinach, the kingston, salinas, or mariposas.

Burgers and Sandwiches
All items are served on a stick boy sourdough bun and come with chips n salsa, homemade fries, or a cup of soup. Gluten-free buns are available upon request and a regular patty can be substituted for a vegan option. Choose from the basic burger, which features Shipley Farms beef, mixed greens, tomato, and a house-made sweet red aioli. Another option is the Caribbean Burger, which also features Shipley Farms beef, with jack cheese, chipotle cream cheese, mixed greens, roasted green peppers, grilled pineapple, and button mushrooms.

Burritos
Of course, no visit to the Coyote Kitchen is complete with tasting some of its legendary burritos. Choose from the Marley, which contains jerk chicken, coconut rice, black beans, fried sweet potatoes, plantains, grilled pineapple, roasted red peppers, and sour cream, or opt for the Domingo, with Rosemary chicken, coconut rice, black beans, roasted red peppers, jack cheese, and chipotle cream cheese, among other options.

Bowls
Choose from various bowls prepared with sauteed spinach and without melted cheese. The Sedona features blackened tempeh, coconut rice, black beans, sauteed spinach, fried sweet potatoes, corn, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, and sweet red vegan aioli. The Carina, contains blackened plant-based vegan patty, cornbread, red beans, grilled mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted corn, jack cheese, and sour cream.
