Izzy’s Coffee House caters to all types of beverage preferences. There are lots of coffee-based options, of course, but you’ll also find a nice selection of teas and alcoholic beverages. All of these are served alongside house-made pastries that are as good as your grandmother used to make (don’t tell her).
The coffee selection is fairly typical of what you’d expect at a coffee house (or den). Starting off with drip coffee and espresso, the beverage options get increasingly fancy as milk, syrups and whipped cream are added. The caramel- and chocolate-laden options are always favorites, but you won’t be disappointed if you just want a good ol’ cup of joe. Drip coffee usually is available in two daily options, and most other beverages can be made iced or hot.
For teas, there’s a pleasant selection of loose leaf options that include both caffeinated and non-caffeinated blends. Black, green and herbal varietals are all on the menu.
The alcoholic drink menu isn’t the largest, but it contains an ample selection. There’s a decent number of beers and wines to choose from, with beer sold by the bottle, and wines sold by the glass or bottle.
No matter what drink you choose, make sure you try at least one pastry. They’re made in house and the quality is evident. You may decide to take a few home after trying one.
For a good coffee and snack in a funky cafe, Izzy’s Coffee House hits the spot. Stop by before as you get started in the morning, or take a few moments to refresh and refuel later in the day.
A few of our menu favorites at Izzy’s Coffee House include:
Frozen Fix
The Frozen Fix is a blended mocha beverage that comes with a double-shot of espresso. It’s delicious, and it’ll keep you going.
Mimosa
A coffee shop that serves up mimosas? Yes, please. It’s 5:00 a.m. somewhere.
Coffee to Stay
The Coffee to Stay is the best deal on the menu, especially if you’ll be sitting for a while. An initial cup is just $1.50 and refills are only $0.75 each. You could have a couple of cups for less than what some other places charge for only one small coffee.
Baked Good
Choosing a pastry is a personal decision, for people like different types of baked goods. No matter what one you get, though, you’re bound to enjoy it as it’s made in-house with the finest ingredients.
Crackers and Cheese
A strong commitment to quality makes something even as simple as crackers and cheese stand out. Crackers baked in-house are paired with curated cheese for an excellent example of this classic.
Insider Tip:
If you’re hoping to get some work done, head upstairs after getting your order. The space is a little quieter and fairly private, so you can concentrate more easily.
