When you are on vacation, it’s always nice to eat where the locals do. That’s what you’ll get at Copper Crown. This restaurant’s goal is to be a community gathering place in East Asheville. It’s located just a few minutes away from downtown and on the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Dinner is available seven nights a week and the diverse menu often changes. Find dishes with influences from the American South, including New Orleans, and Italy. In addition to food, Copper Crown offers signature cocktails, packaged and draft beer selections, and a full wine list.

Both indoor and outdoor seating is available and the outdoor seating is under a covered patio. Reservations are recommended, as the dining spaces are small and cozy.

Copper Crown partners with local farms as much as possible. Plus, this restaurant strives to reduce its ecological impact. For instance, they have a relationship with Acadia Power, which allows for the sourcing of electricity from 100% renewable sources. The owners are dedicated to using compostable disposable products whenever possible and food and packaging waste are composted with the help of Danny’s Dumpsters. Also, Copper Crown recycles their used cooking oil with Blue Ridge Biofuels.

When looking at the menu, you will notice that there are smaller and larger plates. You can order several smaller plates to share for appetizers, but for many, a small plate is plenty of food for dinner.
