Today, you’ll find Bucc-ees throughout the South, including right here in Sevierville. Buc-ee’s are perhaps best known for their massive size, friendly beaver mascot, and wide array of travel-friendly products, including food! Yes, Buc-ee’s has a great array of delicious food products with quirky names and unique tastes.

Just take a look at the following list of what we think are some of the best, must-try eats at Buc-ee’s Sevierville to see what we mean!

1. Beaver Nuggets

Look, we aren’t going to hide the best down at the bottom! Right here we are going to shout it loud and proud that the Beaver Nuggets are certainly one of the most beloved snacks at this travel stop. Beaver Nuggets are a type of snack made out of puffed corn that has been tossed in a special coating comprised primarily of butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. They taste a bit like kettle corn but with a puffier constitution. You can buy packs or bags of Beaver Nuggets in a variety of specialty flavors and sizes.

2. Chopped Brisket Sandwich

The Brisket Sandwich is another top food item at Buc-ee’s and may, in fact, be the best-selling sandwich on their menu. The chopped brisket sandwich is built much like a chopped pork sandwich in that it mixes together the very best muscles from a smoked shoulder. This succulent meat is slow-cooked and tossed in a sweet and tangy sauce before being piled high onto sandwich buns and served up to its fans.

3. Beaver Chips

Think you already have a favorite potato chip? Think again. The first thing to know about this housemade potato chip is that Buc-ee’s stocks them in a warm space beneath a heat lamp and next to the made barbecue sandwiches, ensuring that they also come to you with a warm toasty taste. Beaver Chips are crunch, salty, and downright finger-licking good. Grab these for a quick snack, but don’t be surprised if you find yourself coming right back more!

4. Kolaches

Kolaches are a semisweet pastry that originated in Central Europe, most notably Poland and Czechia, but took on a new flavor profile once it merged with American cuisine. Texans took this delicious little dough pocket that used to be preserved for mostly sweet items, and started stuffing all manner of fillings in them. At Buc’ees, you can buy kolaches with a Texan twist in flavors like sausage, cheese, and jalapenos. They also have some with more traditional sweet mixtures available!

5. Steak and Cheese Burrito

Kolaches are not the only thing that Texas made its own. Not. Even. Close. The cuisine in this state has been heavily influenced by the country it shares a southern border with, with burritos becoming one of the most popular foods there. Buc-ee’s, as a Texan-based business, has a sizable list of Tex Mex-styled items, including burritos. The best burrito they serve, in our opinion, is the Steak and Cheese Burrito. This is a cheesesteak burrito that is stuffed with sliced beef, cheese, and peppers and topped with salsa verde.

6. Beef Jerky

Beef Jerky is a staple food for road trips and outdoor adventures. After all, this is a very portable snack that packs in a ton of protein that will keep you going, and this is a snack that won’t drip, crumble, leak, or otherwise make a big mess for you. Texas, being the home of cattle ranchers, unsurprisingly loves beef jerky to an even bigger level. Buc-ee’s has honored the state’s tradition of making specialty jerky and today offers up a delicious array of beef jerky options for all of its customers, including those at Buc-ee’s Sevierville. All of the beef jerky served at this location and every other location comes from a Central Texas smokehouse that has perfected the process. Some of the popular types of beef jerky you will find here include:

Bohemian Garlic: This is a must-try eat for anyone who loves garlic-flavored items as every bite of this Texas treat will offer an explosive mouthful of beef and garlic.

Ghost Pepper: Ghost Pepper is a very, very spicy type of pepper and the Ghost Pepper jerky at Buc-ee’s is aptly named because of that. These strips of beef come well-dusted with ghost pepper flakes so that each bite delivers a pack of spice that is apt to leave you sweating. We recommend grabbing some sour cream and cold drinks for this one. A dollop of sour cream on each bite of jerky is a great way to enjoy this treat.

Hill Country Peppered Beef: This jerky at Buc-ee’s Sevierville is a great choice for those looking for a classic, old-school flavor. The Hill Country Peppered Beef features a deep and savory taste that is perfectly reminiscent of outdoor barbecues.
