"We came for my son’s bachelor party and left with the distinct impression that the local wildlife had RSVP’d before we did. A young black bear made a cameo (from a respectful distance, thankfully — we wanted the groom alive for his wedding), a full flock of wild turkeys held their own parade across the backyard one morning like they owned the place, and a raccoon strolled onto the back porch to personally supervise one groomsman’s hot tub soak. No notes on his technique, apparently — the raccoon just watched.<br/><br/>Beyond the surprise animal welcoming committee, the cabin itself was the real star. Waking up above the morning fog, coffee in hand, watching it roll through the valley below — that view alone should be prescribed for stress. It’s the kind of scene that makes you forget you’re one buddy’s group text away from wedding chaos.<br/><br/>Would absolutely stay again, ideally with the same wildlife lineup. 10/10, the bear gave it two paws up."

2026 Family Vacation
The cabin is very private. My wife has mobility issues and the cabin was very accessible for her. We saw five bears at the cabin. I would recommend the cabin for your next vacation.

Beautiful cabin with everything we needed. It was a curvey drive up.

Dinner on the back deck and coffee with the view of the smokeys=priceless!
Honeymoon Trip
The cabin was beautiful with a phenomenal view, comfortable linens, and great shower pressure. It was clean overall, but it felt like it had been a while since anyone had freshened things up, and the throw rugs looked a bit dingy. The biggest issue was the dryer not working. I did laundry the night before checkout and had to haul wet clothes for hours. Which cut into our trip. When I reported it, management was dismissive, which was disappointing. It’s a lovely spot, but better maintenance and more attentive service would make a big difference.
