just below heaven

We had my my husband, my daughter and her husband along with their three kids and one of their wives and my son with his daughter. The home was very accommodating. My husband and I are elderly and disabled so the main level was great for us and the lower level and upper level were used by our kids and their families which was very spacious. We would absolutely recommend Just Below Heaven because the views and quick access to all attractions were just that.

The description and photos on the website drew us to this cabin and it didn’t disappoint! The view from the porch was breathtaking. We had three generations in our party and everyone enjoyed relaxing there. Bedrooms were spacious. The open plan living room, dining room, and kitchen was perfect. Everything was immaculate. I used to run a b&b and the condition of the property and the cleanliness were outstanding! The process of booking was easy and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. We went it Dolly Parton’s Stampede which was great fun, enjoying a huge meal (you won’t go away hungry!) and the incredible horses and performers. The next day we went to Dollywood. What a fabulous theme park! The roller coaster enthusiasts were thrilled and I loved The Dolly Parton Experience which featured her costumes, wigs, shoes, etc. In short, the cabin exceeded expectations and all three generations had a fabulous time at the Dolly Parton attractions! Highly recommend!!!

Everything was great. The dryer vent kept falling so we had to keep putting it back. Might be something to look into. It caused the closet space with the dryer in it to get really hot before we notice the vent fell.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and all rooms had a large amount of space. The indoor heated pool was a huge hit for our grand babies, and the game room was enjoyed by everyone. The only thing missing were chairs around the fire pit. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Beautiful location and cabin. But we did have a couple of issues. But anything that I contacted the office about was handled quickly though.
Issues we had: Siren in the pool went off when my wife stepped into it. There were no instructions to let us know it would happen or how to change the setting before we got in. Ants and other bugs were constantly in the basement. Check in was at 4:00. We arrived at 4:45 and the cleaning lady was still in the home cleaning with the doors standing wide open. We had gnats flying in the cabin the entire 9 days of our stay. I even bought a gnat trap to help. The shower wasn't clean on the first floor. hair on wall, soap on wall and on floor. I think the cleaning lady was rushed being she was so far behind when we arrived so things were just neglected.
I'm not complaining, just informing. Our stay was still great :)

This is a brand new house. You still smell the new wood smell when you walk in. It was very nice, well stocked, and comfortable. The hot tub was great and the view was fantastic and it was a very quite place. We came to go to Dollywood and it was a convenient commute.
