Best Cabin!!
We had the very best time staying at Smoky Sunrise. We loved the accommodations. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook on nights we wanted to stay in. Our kids loved the game room downstairs, the hot tub on the deck, and the big TV room.
The location is perfect! It’s far enough in the wilderness that you get that full cabin experience, but not so far out that it’s a long drive into town. It is bout 10-15 minutes and you’re right there with all the attractions and restaurants. The view from the back deck is stunning in the morning, and you definitely see where they came up with the name “Smoky Sunrise!” We loved enjoying our coffee while the sun came up.
We didn’t need anything while we were there, but the owners made sure to let us know that if we did, it would quickly be handled.
We can’t say enough great things. This stay was exactly what we needed and we will definitely be coming back!

Nearly Perfect
Sunset Memories provided an overall awesome experience for our July vacation. It was well-furnished with awesome interior and exterior hang-out spaces that allowed 4 adults to comfortably spend time together without feeling on top of each other. There were only a few downsides we experienced in our stay. 1) Internet connectivity was sorely lacking. 3 out of the 4 of us needed to do some work at varying points in the trip and had a really tough time maintaining solid internet connections. This also made streaming on smart tvs a challenge and often times impossible. 2) six smart tvs, ONE smart tv remote. Yes, there’s direct tv available but for most folks, we prefer just logging into one of our streaming apps when settling in for the night or on a rainy afternoon. Sharing one smart tv remote was incredibly frustrating further exacerbated by poor internet connectivity. 3) no pot holders - we made due using towels to handle hot pans but some pot holders would’ve been preferred.
Overall, this cabin is well-appointed and somewhere we would gladly stay again. Personal preference would be to dump DirectTV and invest in high performing internet but beyond that, we loved the cabin and had a wonderful time with friends.
