game changer

This cabin was everything we were looking for during our stay. Plenty of options for the kids and space to spread out. The outdoor decks and fire pit were the highlight for me.

I was nervous about spending this much on a cabin. It was everything they said. I was very nervous about golf simulator being broke but it was not!! Yah!! ES did email me while on our way that the tv projector in the pool area was out being serviced. I was fine with that. The simulator was our top priority. I was very impressed with the CS of Elk Springs. They answered every text quickly. Had some hot water issue of it not working in the evening but They sent maintenance out and all was great. I am shocked at the high level of customer service we received. The cabin was very clean with plenty of towels but need more hand towels. Beds comfortable. My adult son told me as we were leaving that the bunk bed room needed a deep clean as it was not cleaned well in a long time. It is a small room with large beds so I assume it is difficult to clean but find a way. There were no bugs! Yah! We had a bear walk through the back putt putt course and go over the fence while the kids were in the hot tub one night! Bear never even looked at them. Pretty cool. There is no pantry to store your food. We ended up using the coffee table as our pantry. 6 people 1 week = lots of food. Neighbors very close on both sides but never heard anyone at any time. This cabin does not offer that majestic view. Lots of woods and there are mountains in the horizon. We were OK with this as we needed the amenities for our adult kids more than a view. So much for the family to do at the cabin! Easy to find - no steep inclines or gravel dirt roads yah! 15-20 min from Pigeon Forge which was great it was not a busy area. About 30-35 from Gatlinburg which is insane - glad we were on the other end. Mountain coasters were fantastic! I loved feeding the goats!!! The Island is a great place with lots to see and do for the whole family -Shops, food, amusement park area. Had dinner at the Chop House one night and it was excellent! Was not outrageous $$. Make reservations in advance. Recommend renting via ES.

The house was extremely neat and had so many amenities. Quick turn around time when texting the place for assistance. The computer for the interactive screen would not work as the pin didn't unlock the computer; however, everything else was absolutely perfect. Would 100% recommend this cabin to friends and family! We were in very close proximity to the Island, the Parkway and several mountain coaster locations!

This was am amazing cabin. Pictures can not do it justice. Check in was smooth. Directions were easy to follow. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we could possibly desire for a fun getaway. We have already referred Elk Springs Resorts to some family and will be back in the future.

Great for family a vacation.

Beautiful property nestled in the smokies. Surroundings were very nice despite not being super high up and the location was in perfect proximity to pigeon forge and only 25-35 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The pool, was nice although you couldn’t change the temp of the room or open the doors to the outside to get fresh air in thanks to pool alarms. Only complaint is that the cleaning crew could have done a way better job- the excessive amount cobwebs everywhere (that didn’t happen overnight, the furniture outside was kind of gross, and the interior floors left blackness on your feet if you walked barefoot. Also, my wife ran a bedroom sink one time to wash her hands and the water just never went down. No biggie though. Everything else was great. We even got our first bear sighting on the property. Makes for an adrenaline rush when you’re trying to pack the car up.
